What maid service means here
Maid service, house cleaning, housekeeping. People use different words for the same thing. Someone comes to your home and cleans it, so you do not have to.
That is what I do. The difference is who shows up. Many maid services send a crew, and the faces change from week to week. With me, there is no crew. I am a one-woman maid service based in New Lenox. I do the walkthrough, I give you the price, and I clean your home on every visit.

What I clean on every visit
Every visit covers the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and floors. We can change the list during your walkthrough.
- Counters, stovetop, sink, and the outside of appliances
- Tubs, showers, toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Furniture, shelves, and decor dusted
- Beds made if you ask
- Carpets and rugs vacuumed
- Hard floors mopped
- Trash taken out
Need more detail, like baseboards, grout, door frames, and blinds? That is a deep clean. Many families start with one deep clean, then switch to regular visits.
One maid vs a big maid company
Both can work. Here is an honest look at the difference.

A big company can send three people and finish faster. They can also cover a sick day. If those things matter most to you, a company may be a better fit. Can you trust someone new in your home?
It is a fair question. You are letting someone into the place where your family lives. Here is how I handle that.
- Only one person ever has access to your home: me
- You meet me at the walkthrough before I ever clean
- We agree on how I get in and lock up
- If you would rather be home while I clean, that is fine too
- If something is not right, you call me directly and I fix it
How maid service is priced
I do not post prices online, because two homes the same size can need very different amounts of work. I come to your home for free, see the space, and give you a price in person.
The price depends on the size of your home, the number of bathrooms, pets, how often you want me to come, and how long it has been since the last good clean. More frequent visits usually take less time each visit, because your home stays in better shape. See how the free walkthrough works.
