The kinds of homes I clean
Frankfort has two very different kinds of homes, and I love cleaning both.
Closer to the historic downtown, some homes have older character. Wood trim, older floors, built in shelves, and layouts with lots of little rooms and corners. These homes need a gentle touch and patience.
In the newer parts of town, many homes are large, with two story entryways, open kitchens with big islands, lots of windows, and finished basements. These homes have a lot of square footage and a lot of surfaces that show every fingerprint and dust speck.
Common cleaning challenges

Big windows, glass doors, and glass railings look beautiful but show smudges easily. I wipe interior glass surfaces I can reach so light comes through clearly.
Large kitchens with islands
Big islands and long counters mean a lot of surface to wipe, and everything shows on quartz and granite. I clean all of it with care.
Wood trim and older details
Older homes often have wood trim, spindles, and built ins that collect dust in every groove. I dust these slowly and gently.
